Ice thickness at the Access
Posted: 17 Jan 07 4:49 PM
Well, when I stopped down there last Saturday morning (1-13-07), there was about 1/8" ice formed across the entire access and channel down by the park from what I could see. I just got back from inspecting it again and it seems some folks have taken to the ice already. Tracks seemed to span from the boat ramp up to the access. I could not see out onto the channel to see if there were tracks. I cleared snow off the ice and guess the ice to be about 5" based upon visible air bubbles in the ice. Hopefully it will stay cold!

Is the river as good as last year when you had to fish your sled out of the water?  Thanks.
